Stockarea focuses on reducing warehousing and logistics costs while providing remote inventory visibility and end-to-end supply chain execution.

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate client, landlord, vendor, and technology agreements • Review indemnities, limitation of liability, insurance obligations, SLA penalties, termination and exit costs, force majeure, lien rights, and dispute resolution clauses • Maintain a contract repository and renewal tracker • Manage commercial disputes involving client debit notes, vendor defaults, landlord security deposits, and transporter claims • Draft and issue legal notices, demand letters, settlement proposals, and reply notices • Coordinate with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, Section 9/11 applications, and enforcement proceedings • Handle insolvency-related matters and operational creditor claims under the IBC • Manage cheque bounce cases under NI Act Section 138 • Advise on warehousing, labour, GST, insurance, and data privacy compliance • Support Series A fundraising documentation, due diligence, investor agreements, and corporate records • Advise operations teams on goods lien rights, stock-damage liability, handover/takeover documentation, and client exit protocols • Draft and standardise operational legal SOPs • Support new warehouse onboarding, including lease review, regulatory clearances, and landlord negotiations • Serve as the first dedicated legal hire, reporting to the Co-Founders

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4 Years PQE (in-house or law firm) • BBA LL.B (5-year integrated) or LL.B from a recognised university • Enrolled with the Bar Council of India • Ability to independently draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including MSAs, leases, and vendor terms • Hands-on experience with commercial litigation, arbitration, and recovery proceedings • Working knowledge of labour laws, GST, and warehousing regulations (preferred) • Exposure to international trade or multi-jurisdictional matters (a plus, not mandatory) • English (mandatory) • Hindi (required for operations coordination) • French/Italian (bonus)
