📋 Description

• Own a major sports client's product rollout and accompanying AI-enabled services • Configure client products and integrations from brief through onboarding, testing, and rollout • Build and run AI-powered automations, tools, and workflows • Maintain AI services after launch by monitoring inputs and outputs and identifying issues proactively • Investigate issues by checking configuration, data, and expected behavior • Provide Engineering with clear, reproducible problems • Prioritize fixes in the product area and work directly with engineers to deliver them • Communicate progress and constraints clearly to the client • Convert client and operational learnings into changes for Product and Engineering • Direct one or two more junior teammates • Create tools and automation that improve future delivery cycles

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building an AI automation, agentic pipeline step, or tool in real use; not chatbot use • Experience taking a client-facing product or integration from brief to live and operating it after launch • Technical background in support, integrations, QA, development, or similar • Comfortable with APIs, SDKs, configuration, and data without needing to be an engineer • Experience working where processes did not yet exist, such as a startup, scale-up, fast-moving agency, or self-started venture • Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and progress independently • Clear, direct communication with clients and technical teams • Nice to have: background in sport, media, live events, or ad-tech • Nice to have: experience with SaaS or developer-facing products, including SDKs, CMS, and analytics • Legal right to work in South Africa without restrictions or right to work through a visa
