📋 Description

• Lead a team of around 10 engineers in the Templating Domain • Report directly to the VP of Software Engineering • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team • Own hiring, onboarding, and team structure as the domain scales • Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering practices, and operational excellence • Partner with Product and Design to define priorities and deliver business impact • Own delivery, quality, reliability, and long-term domain health • Drive technical direction and architectural decisions, balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability • Remove obstacles, support engineers, and foster a high-ownership engineering culture • Champion pragmatic AI adoption across engineering and product development • Collaborate with adjacent teams to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences • Lead production incident management and continuous improvement initiatives • Participate in design reviews, incident discussions, and technical decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Lead and/or Engineering Manager, managing a team of 5+ engineers, including remote team members • Strong software engineering background, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment • Ability to guide technical decisions and support engineers on complex challenges • Experience with modern web technologies • TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js experience; Python used for AI-related development • Hands-on leadership style and close engagement with technology and team challenges • Pragmatic approach to AI and experience helping teams adopt valuable new technologies • Experience building and operating customer-facing software products with architectural and operational complexity • Ability to balance feature delivery, technical debt, and platform investments • Strong communication skills and ability to represent technical decisions and trade-offs to broad stakeholders • Passion for coaching, developing, and growing engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
