📋 Description

• Drive the global MDM vision and roadmap in alignment with Finance Transformation, the Target Operating Model and Finance Shared Services • Establish and own the MDM governance framework, including data ownership, stewardship, decision rights and a data council • Define global master data standards, templates, policies, naming conventions, mandatory attributes, approval workflows, segregation of duties and lifecycle rules • Define risk indicators and controls and oversee audit and regulatory compliance • Own standardized end-to-end master data creation, change, extension and retirement processes across Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Perform, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash • Define and own the global S/4HANA master data model and maintain one source of truth across connected applications • Lead Fit-to-Standard for master data, approving deviations and validating local requirements while protecting the global core • Lead the MDM workstream in the SAP S/4HANA public cloud implementation program • Translate data requirements into IT requirements and align tooling, including SAP Master Data Governance, workflow and data quality solutions • Confirm master data readiness before each go-live and assess twice-yearly SAP releases • Own the data migration strategy, including cleansing, mapping, mock migrations and cut-over validation • Act as global expert and main contact during country and cluster roll-outs • Drive change management, adoption and role-based training for requesters, approvers and data stewards • Build a global data steward community • Design and set up MDM Shared Services, define task allocation and transfer local maintenance to the center • Define data quality and service KPIs, run performance reviews and lead continuous improvement focused on automation, efficiency and standardization

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Management or related field • Minimum 7 years in master data management, finance systems or process management • Strong exposure to Finance and Accounting • Deep understanding of finance and enterprise master data objects, including Chart of Accounts, cost and profit centers, business partners and fixed assets • Proven SAP S/4HANA implementation experience • Deep knowledge of master data structures, organizational units, business partner concept, SAP Master Data Governance, Migration Cockpit and SAP Best Practices • Track record in large-scale SAP programs, including global data model design, data cleansing and migration, multi-country roll-outs and standardized implementations • Experience with Shared Services concepts and implementation, particularly centralized master data maintenance • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to defend the global data model against local deviations • Excellent project management skills in global matrix structures • Strong analytical, data quality and process optimization skills • Hands-on, results-driven approach with learning agility and ability to challenge the status quo • Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in English • Ability to lead, mentor and align data owners and stewards across complex Finance and business domains • Willingness to travel globally up to 30%
