📋 Description

• Oversee negotiations of clinical study agreements at the study level • Drive CTA document finalization and execution, including contractual language, terms, financial attachments, and investigator grant budgets • Collaborate with a global team of site contract and budget negotiators • Provide oversight of contract and budget negotiation status • Manage escalation of out-of-parameter budgetary and contractual requests to sponsor decision-makers • Provide consultation and act as a first-line subject matter expert on CTA elements • Advise stakeholders on issue resolution for assigned studies • Plan contract execution strategy and forecast site-specific contractual execution timelines • Coordinate with internal study team stakeholders to align CTA strategy with study start-up plans • Manage expectations of internal and sponsor study teams regarding global CTA negotiations • Coordinate communications between study stakeholders and global site contract and budget negotiators • Participate in regular study calls • Prepare site contractual templates, payment terms, study-level negotiation parameters, and processes • Build working relationships with sponsors to align site contractual templates with global program strategy • Create and maintain document status reports and update department tools, systems, and team members • Maintain appropriate documentation • Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments • Communicate and explain legal and budgetary issues • Manage discussions regarding fair market value of investigator budgets and payment terms • Support business units and the organization through help desk and other defined pathways • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in life sciences, a health related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Preferred experience in a CRO/pharmaceutical industry • Related clinical trial expertise, such as Study Coordinator, CRA, Pharmacy, Nursing, or Healthcare Administration • Site start-up experience preferred • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, drug development, and clinical project management procedures • Good presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project, Outlook, and Internet • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment • Attention to detail • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines • Strong leadership skills • Ability to teach and mentor team members • Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be considered • Minimal travel may be required, up to 25%
