📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building Sysdig's runtime agent • Own technical direction, hiring, team growth, and performance management • Review designs and code across the team • Unblock engineers on complex technical problems • Stay hands-on with technically demanding, cross-cutting work • Partner with product, detection, and security research teams to deliver runtime-agent functionality without compromising production performance or stability

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and managing performance • Extensive experience building and operating low-level, performance-critical systems software in C and C++ • Working experience with containerized and orchestrated systems, including Kubernetes and containerd; familiarity with cgroups • Deep working knowledge of OS internals and instrumentation techniques such as eBPF or kernel modules • Proficiency in Linux internals required • Experience operating distributed systems at scale, including reliability and performance trade-offs • Experience managing a distributed team and planning long-term roadmaps and cross-team features • Experience growing a team through rapid product change • Expertise in Go or Rust is a plus • Good knowledge of Windows and/or Mac internals is a plus
