📋 Description

• Develop and operate robust, scalable, and secure network solutions for a sovereign cloud infrastructure serving the public sector • Ensure a robust, highly available network architecture with excellent monitoring • Design system architectures and automate operational processes • Take responsibility for the design, implementation, and operation of highly secure network infrastructures, including isolated air-gapped systems • Plan tailored network setups in close collaboration with customers and based on customer-owned hardware stacks • Configure and optimize complex routing scenarios using BGP, MPLS, and IPv6 in multi-tenant environments • Develop and maintain automation with Ansible and Python for updates, scaling, and hardware integrations in live production environments • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting • Continuously improve monitoring to ensure high availability • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to ensure the stability and reliability of critical infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in network engineering, ideally in an ISP environment or large data centers • Strong knowledge of data center networking, particularly Cumulus Linux and Juniper Junos • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, and VXLAN/EVPN • Confident working with the Linux command line • Experience with scripting and automation using Bash and Python • Practical experience with Ansible or Terraform is a plus • Structured and organized approach to work • Ability to create and maintain clear documentation • Very good German and English language skills
