📋 Description

• Own the BNPL Consumer Experience end to end, from checkout to post-purchase • Keep the checkout and post-purchase experiences consistent • Understand product logic and edge cases behind every flow • Partner with Product Managers to reframe problems and create designs that improve business metrics, reduce drop-offs, and reduce support tickets • Run experiments on high-traffic checkout flows, analyze results, and iterate to improve conversion • Validate ideas through research, data, and customer feedback • Design experiences for native apps, mobile web, desktop web, and in-store channels • Handle country-specific rules without fragmenting the experience • Use AI tools for prototypes, ideation, edge-case mapping, and research synthesis • Collaborate with engineering through delivery • Run design reviews with QA and own the quality of shipped work • Work with two Product Managers, a Design Lead, dedicated engineers, a UX researcher, UX writer, and Arabic copywriter

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience shipping B2C products across native mobile and web • Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, from problem framing and reasoning to polished, production-ready UI • Strong product and systems thinking • Understanding of business goals, conversion, and product logic • High craft standards in visual and interaction design • Experience using AI tools for prototyping, exploration, or delivery, demonstrated through real projects • Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate with designers and C-level executives • Independent and proactive approach; ability to manage priorities and set timelines • Fluency in English • Candidates must be based within four hours of Dubai time • Nice to have: experience in fintech, payments, lending, or checkout products, including A/B testing in high-traffic funnels • Nice to have: experience designing for GCC markets or Arabic/RTL interfaces • Nice to have: comfort working close to code or experience building a design system • Nice to have: experience in a hyper-growth startup or scale-up
