📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and indexes • Create and manage database scripts for releases, schema changes, test data creation, database backups, and deployments • Perform SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting • Support application teams with database-related requirements and web service database integrations • Manage database security, user privileges, and access controls • Assist with database software installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance • Participate in physical database design, capacity planning, and database sizing • Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and routine maintenance tasks • Support DDL changes with version control and documentation • Conduct monthly database audits and address compliance, security, and performance findings • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams on application releases and production environments • Maintain technical documentation and database development and operational standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database development and support • Strong expertise in SQL Server database programming and administration • Proven experience in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization • Good understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data integrity • Familiarity with database deployment, version control, and release management practices • Knowledge of backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability concepts is an advantage • Experience working in production support environments is preferred • Positive attitude with strong self-motivation and a sense of ownership • Customer-focused approach with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a high-performance, quality-driven engineering team
