📋 Description

• Take technical ownership of a new consumer video app for iOS and Android • Implement and maintain the app in React Native and TypeScript from first commit through store release and beyond • Shape the app architecture within the React Native, video, CMS, and advertising platform framework • Build the core video experience with emphasis on load time, smooth interaction, and native modules where needed • Connect the app to the video, CMS, and ad technology platform with support from the Belgrade team • Establish standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and release processes • Develop a playback-layer recommendation and prototype it during the first weeks • Collaborate directly with the founding team • Continue improving the product in live operation

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of experience in B2C app development • Several years in a senior or lead role • Daily, hands-on work with AI coding agents, ideally Claude Code • At least one app shipped to both iOS and Android stores from scratch and maintained in live operation • Hands-on React Native and TypeScript experience • Ideally experience with native modules in Swift and Kotlin • Experience integrating third-party SDKs • Experience with media-heavy apps where load time and smooth interaction are critical • Experience with video feeds is a plus • Experience with in-app purchases, subscriptions, and advertising • Experience with clean server-side monetization integration • Understanding of engagement and retention • Experience with backend APIs, analytics, GDPR, and Apple and Google review processes • Ability to recommend a playback layer and support the recommendation with a prototype in the first weeks • Ability to describe a performance problem solved in a media-heavy app and how AI tools helped in the cover letter
