📋 Description
• Monitor daily payment transactions in the core banking system and take action when needed • Track payment statuses and investigate issues with payment service providers • Process and verify payment files through SWIFT, TARGET, BISERA and BORICA • Support settlement account reconciliation and other payment-related operations • Handle payment returns, manual transactions and mass file imports • Review system logs and help investigate payment processing issues • Participate in testing and implementation of new or improved payment processes • Identify opportunities to make payment operations smoother and more efficient • Provide operational support and guidance to colleagues and other teams
🎯 Requirements
• University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Banking, or another relevant field • At least 1 year of experience in payments, banking operations, financial services, or another relevant operational role • Banking-sector experience considered an advantage • Good computer literacy • Previous exposure to payment systems, SWIFT standards, or BNB reporting considered an advantage • Good command of English • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Analytical and problem-solving mindset • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn, develop and improve processes • Availability to work in a 24/7 shift-based schedule, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays • CV in English
