📋 Description

• Serve as the primary strategic partner to a portfolio of partner CEOs, prospective CEOs, and senior leadership teams, providing executive-level advisory support • Lead strategic stewardship of a regional partner portfolio, assessing organisational health, performance, opportunities, and risk • Determine priorities for regional investment and allocate cross-functional support • Lead strategic partner engagements and in-country support missions • Lead organisational development across partner organisations, including strategy, programme quality, theory of change, operating models, governance, and leadership effectiveness • Own the regional partner risk framework and coordinate mitigation strategies • Lead early-stage entrepreneurs through organisational formation and launch • Shape regional strategic priorities through leadership development platforms, executive communities of practice, peer learning, and cross-partner collaboration • Lead the Africa region’s strategic adoption of artificial intelligence • Synthesise regional intelligence and trends into strategic recommendations and decision-support resources • Represent the Africa region in global cross-functional initiatives • Contribute to network-wide organisational and leadership development initiatives • Strengthen partner financial sustainability and fundraising strategies • Oversee portfolio-level financial sustainability, funding gaps, and donor relationships • Develop fundraising materials including concept notes, proposal inputs, investment cases, and donor briefings • Contribute to regional financial stewardship and program investment management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience • Proven track record developing and executing cross-functional organisational strategies • Experience designing and executing complex learning agendas, adult learning programs, and reflection frameworks • Experience in project management and operational systems design across complex, multi-stakeholder or matrixed environments • Ability to translate high-level vision into actionable operational plans while managing competing priorities • Exceptional facilitation and instructional design skills for adult learners in virtual and in-person settings • Deep understanding of African cultural, political, and historical contexts • Ability to operate sensitively across diverse environments • High emotional and social intelligence and experience building trust-based relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and digital collaboration platforms • Professional experience across international or multi-country contexts, specifically within Africa, desirable • Familiarity with Teach For All’s network partners, Unifying Principles, or Early Stage Entrepreneurship model, desirable • Fluency in French or other major languages spoken within the Africa region, desirable • Valid work and residency authorization in the country of hire at the time of application; no employment visa sponsorship, immigration assistance, or work-permit/residency support • Ability to travel up to 30% • Availability for some non-traditional hours for early or later calls across time zones • Resume/CV and one-page letter of motivation in English required for application
