⢠Demonstrated ability to independently identify infrastructure and operational problems, determine root causes, design solutions, and drive improvements through implementation and measurable results ⢠Proven track record owning business-critical production infrastructure and complex platform initiatives with minimal oversight ⢠Strong judgment balancing reliability, security, engineering velocity, cost, complexity, and business needs ⢠Ability to operate effectively during production incidents ⢠Ability to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools for infrastructure development, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, incident analysis, and productivity ⢠Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated infrastructure and operational changes before production use ⢠Deep experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, and improving highly available production systems in cloud environments ⢠Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern cloud-native infrastructure ⢠Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar technologies ⢠Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, automated deployment practices, and modern software delivery workflows ⢠Experience with production observability, including monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and incident management ⢠Strong understanding of reliability engineering, failure modes, resilience, capacity, recovery, and operational risk ⢠Experience with secure infrastructure patterns, access controls, secrets management, system hardening, and cloud security ⢠Strong Linux and systems troubleshooting skills ⢠Strong experience operating production workloads in AWS or a comparable cloud platform ⢠Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar platforms ⢠Experience with Datadog or similar observability platforms ⢠Strong scripting or programming ability using Python, Bash, or another appropriate language ⢠Working knowledge of networking, DNS, CDN/WAF technologies, load balancing, TLS, and application-delivery architecture ⢠Experience supporting MySQL, Redis, Redshift, or similar data stores and stateful systems ⢠Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders ⢠Ability to collaborate with Software Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product, Security, and other teams ⢠Self-driven, highly autonomous, and comfortable in a remote-first environment ⢠Ability to challenge existing approaches constructively and influence technical direction ⢠Ability to mentor engineers and raise engineering standards ⢠Currently authorized to work in the Philippines at hire and throughout employment ⢠Pre-employment screening required
