📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and other databases in virtualized environments and Kubernetes clusters • Collaborate with engineering to identify and resolve pain points in large-scale, high-availability database infrastructure • Lead migration of database services from virtual machines to Kubernetes with minimal downtime and seamless transitions • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and performance tuning for on-premise database systems • Implement and manage observability, logging, and alerting systems

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in infrastructure operations, especially in Linux-based systems • Expertise in at least one deployment and orchestration technology: Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform, focused on deploying and managing stateful applications • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for workflow automation and infrastructure management • Hands-on experience managing at least one relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL • Experience with non-relational databases such as Cassandra, OpenSearch, or other distributed data stores • Familiarity with streaming and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, including scaling and monitoring in distributed setups • Proficiency with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or others • Knowledge of service discovery tools such as Consul or similar technologies is advantageous
