📋 Description

• Lead Developer Advocates across the APJ region • Hire, coach, and support a team of Developer Advocates across the region • Set priorities while enabling advocates to adapt to local markets and audiences • Balance community and customer work based on deal size, stage, and strategic value • Partner with Marketing to plan conference participation and local meetups • Create and translate talks, tutorials, blog posts, videos, sample apps, and livestreams • Develop local community leaders and support open-source contribution • Track developer signups, Temporal adoption, and retention • Own the APJ DevDays onsite customer engagement program from start to finish • Tailor DevDays to customer use cases with the Global DevDays lead • Identify potential customer champions and coordinate follow-up • Relay developer and customer feedback to Docs, Education, and Product, including localization needs • Give talks, run workshops, write code, and engage directly with customers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in developer advocacy, solutions engineering, developer education, or community work • Experience at a developer-focused or enterprise software company preferred • Experience reaching developers in broader communities and working with engineering teams inside large customers • Experience managing people, or readiness to take that step • Experience leading teams across multiple time zones is a bonus • Technical depth sufficient to build things, create demos, give talks, and answer questions from experienced engineers • Ability to organize programs, requests, priorities, and commitments • Ability to work with Marketing, Sales, Solutions Architects, Developer Success, and Product • Experience working across different cultures and markets • Experience with durable execution, workflow orchestration, or distributed systems is a plus
