📋 Description

• Join Tether and Shape the Future of Digital Finance • Design and execute global regulatory affairs strategies for our Tether Data business vertical. • Monitor, analyse and communicate changes in global regulatory policies. • Advise executive leadership on potential regulatory risks and opportunities. • Drive initiatives to influence regulatory frameworks. • Ensure proactive compliance with relevant national and international regulations. • Lead or participate in regulatory agency interactions and advocacy work. • Engage with relevant regulatory authorities, industry bodies, collaborative communities, and policymakers. • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate regulatory considerations into the design and deployment of AI models and technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior regulatory role, ideally within the technology, AI, or digital industries. • Extensive Hands-on experience in AI regulation is essential (non negotiable) • Expertise on AI Governance & AI policy not only in Europe but in different jurisdictions ( This is a must since this is a global role) • Strong knowledge of global AI regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and emerging trends in AI and P2P governance. • Legal, compliance, or policy background with a deep understanding of ethical AI principles is a plus. • Demonstrated understanding of decentralised, self-sovereign and locally executed AI/P2P architectures—and the regulatory implications of these models—distinct from traditional centralised platform approaches. • Demonstrated experience working with regulators and government bodies advocating and advising in a regulatory capacity, with demonstrated achievements securing favourable policy positions on behalf of another organisation. • Expertise in preparing complex regulatory documents and other major regulatory submissions, including the preparation and execution of interactions with regulatory authorities. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Policy, Computer Science, or related fields. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex regulatory topics for non-technical audiences. • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones. • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking and representing companies in regulatory discussions. • Must be a strong team player, and willing to be fully engaged with key stakeholders both in our company but also with our partners. • Must be a hands-on professional capable of working collaboratively and independently.
