📋 Description

• Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, and construction drawings for diverse building projects • Design gravity and lateral load systems, focusing on wood framing and reinforced concrete structures • Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems • Design wood-frame assemblies including shear walls, joists, and beams • Design reinforced concrete elements including foundations, slabs, and columns • Develop structural plans, sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit • Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure constructability • Ensure compliance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS building codes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience • Proven experience in wood and concrete structural design • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software such as Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM • EIT preferred; SE/PE track is a plus • Professional attitude and ethical behavior • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Proactiveness • Multitasking skills • Analytical approach to solving complex issues • Organization and attention to detail • Ability to identify risks, bottlenecks, scope creep, and process improvement opportunities • Prioritization skills • Ability to follow orders or specific instructions when needed • Reliability and ability to follow tasks through to completion • Comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking software • U.S. citizenship or a U.S. work permit eligibility is queried during application • Ability to provide a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English • Work samples or portfolio in PDF format
