📋 Description

• Maintain program information and resources and manage application processes for an assigned program portfolio • Advise students on location, program choice, program features, course selection, and transfer credit • Respond to inquiries from students, families, institutional partners, and IFSA colleagues • Coach students through pre-arrival preparation, including special needs, visas, travel logistics, academics, housing, health and safety, and cultural transitions • Maintain accurate student records and data integrity in Salesforce • Create and run student-record reports • Analyze program-portfolio trends and recommend enrollment and process improvements • Handle host-university applications and course-selection processes • Communicate with colleagues and host institutions to advance applications • Create and revise email templates, application forms, handbooks, advising resources, and website content • Distribute scheduled communications to enrolled and prospective students • Operate within regional teams and flex across portfolios as needed • Help oversee Student Engagement interns and delegate tasks • Communicate with sending universities regarding approvals, affiliations, transfer credits, billing, and administration • Organize and present pre-arrival orientation sessions with IFSA resident staff • Partner with Institutional Engagement to promote IFSA programs to U.S. colleges and universities through webinars and occasional travel • Participate in site visits, retreats, conferences, campus visits, cross-department projects, and other assigned initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of work experience in higher education, sales, study abroad, hospitality, or non-profit sectors • Contagious enthusiasm for IFSA’s mission, vision, and commitments • Strong time management and planning skills • Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities • Solutions-finding approach and continuous process improvement mindset • Strong technology and software competencies, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across an organization • Experience supporting students with diverse lived experiences, including students of color, students with mental and physical disabilities, first-generation college students, and LGBTQIA+ students • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Flexibility and ability to adapt to ambiguous and changing situations • Undergraduate degree preferred • Familiarity with the USA undergraduate education system required • Ability to work occasional overtime during busy enrollment cycles • Legal right to work in Peru • Physical residence in Lima • Ability to attend occasional meetings outside local business hours • Ability to travel independently by ground and air transportation, domestically and internationally
