📋 Description

• Engage in dialogue and maintain relationships with major international food companies, focusing on companies headquartered in Asia • Influence multinational food companies to transition to 100% cage-free systems for egg-laying hens • Build and maintain relationships with corporate executives through email, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings • Lead high-pressure negotiations for animal welfare commitments and OWA global campaigns • Research global food companies and executives and maintain data in Salesforce • Hold companies accountable for commitment deadlines and establish progress check-ins • Collaborate with internal and external teams on campaign targets, strategy, research, commitments, and actions • Collaborate with Open Wing Alliance member groups and other relevant organizations on corporate outreach • Advise THL’s Corporate Engagement team on corporate relations strategy and goals • Report directly to the Senior Associate of Global Corporate Relations

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean or Japanese • Ability to navigate high-pressure and confrontational situations with confidence and persistence • Ability to guide, support, and motivate others, mentor junior team members, and support training • Ability to independently resolve problems and make decisions using sound judgment • Ability to communicate persuasively with corporate executives in emails, presentations, and high-pressure meetings • Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate executives and external stakeholders • Ability to work effectively across cultural and linguistic backgrounds • Ability to conduct thorough research on food companies and executives using online resources • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports with minimal guidance • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks using Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, and Asana • Strong time management, attention to detail, workflow optimization, and deadline management • Strategic thinking and ability to evaluate short- and long-term impacts • Ability to travel as needed, including four or more domestic and international trips per year • Valid passport allowing international travel • Ability to work occasional hours outside 9am–5pm depending on time zone • Applications and supporting documents must be submitted in English
