📋 Description

• Function independently as a lead statistician with minimal oversight • Deliver project statistician tasks and responsibilities • Create analysis databases • Conduct statistical analyses • Create formatted statistical analysis tables and summaries • Provide mentorship to junior team members • Lead project teams and conduct team meetings • Maintain project timelines, assess resources, prepare budgets, and ensure project documentation • Interact with sponsors on all project aspects • Coordinate database maintenance and documentation with programmers and data management personnel • Provide sample size calculations and review clinical protocols • Develop randomization schemes and documentation • Develop statistical analysis plans, analysis databases, and table/listing specifications • Program and validate statistical tables focused on efficacy endpoints • Review reports and manuscripts and contribute to statistical methods sections • Monitor project budgets and communicate potential scope changes to management • Provide general departmental infrastructure support, including presentations, teaching, policy/document contributions, newsletters, department libraries, and new-hire training

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job • Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field • Compliance with departmental SOPs and procedures for statistical analyses and programming work • Ability to lead project teams, conduct team meetings, maintain project timelines, assess resources, prepare budgets, and oversee documentation • Ability to interact with sponsors on all aspects of projects • Experience or ability to coordinate with programmers and data management personnel on database maintenance, updating, and documentation • Ability to provide sample size calculations and review protocols for clinical design and statistical analysis • Ability to develop statistical analysis plans, analysis databases, and table and listing specifications • Ability to program and validate statistical tables, especially for efficacy endpoints • Ability to review reports, documents, and manuscripts for completeness and consistency
