📋 Description

• Install, repair, maintain, qualify, and validate IC-LC-MS instruments on site • Service IC, HPLC, Integrion, Vanquish, Triple Quadrupole, IonTrap, and Orbitrap systems • Deliver instrumental-branch activities efficiently • Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality repair and support • Collaborate with ULS teams and Sales using a client-focused approach • Schedule repair, maintenance, and qualification jobs by priority • Maintain spare-parts inventory, tools, manuals, and test equipment • Promote and sell installations, extended service contracts, preventive maintenance, and related services • Advise customers about new products and upgrades and report sales opportunities to account representatives • Perform service activities in compliance with company values and 4i principles • Maintain a focus on cost savings

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments • Preferred fields of study: Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field • Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including component-level diagnosis • Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment preferred • Excellent written and verbal customer service and communication skills • Strong organizational and time management capabilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management software • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics • Valid driver's license • Ability to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various laboratory environments • Proficiency in English required; additional languages beneficial • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently • Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards • Ability to respond to customer needs with short notice • Ability to effectively train and support customers on equipment operation • Experience documenting service activities and preparing detailed reports • Demonstrated success in meeting customer satisfaction goals
