📋 Description

• Oversee daily line management responsibilities for assigned clinical operations staff • Provide coaching, development support, resourcing, alignment, training, and professional/technical development • Collaborate with senior management and executive staff on strategic planning and business development • Manage and conduct induction/orientation programs for new employees • Maintain staff CVs, training records, position profiles, and experience profiles • Support local resourcing and project/functional lead activities • Escalate issues that may affect project deliverables • Deliver training on WPDs, SOPs, local requirements, and clinical operations topics • Identify training gaps and ensure training requirements are met • Participate in process improvement and development initiatives • Facilitate the risk-based monitoring approach • Alert management to quality issues and request QA audits as appropriate • Support audit responses • Review CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity systems for employee/project metrics, KPIs, and project status • Evaluate staff work through PAVs and assess monitoring skills and project conduct • Manage staff hiring, development, goal setting, performance, coaching, counseling, and separations • Review and approve time records, expense reports, leave requests, and overtime • Frequently drive to site locations and travel domestically and internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous experience comparable to 0 to 5 years • 1+ year of leadership responsibility • Knowledge of clinical operations and monitoring modalities/environments • Ability to deliver training on WPDs, SOPs, local requirements, and clinical operations subjects • Ability to use CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity systems • Knowledge of risk-based monitoring approaches • Ability to evaluate employee and project metrics, KPIs, and project status • Ability to conduct PAVs remotely or on-site • Ability to manage hiring, performance management, coaching, mentoring, counseling, and separations • Ability to approve salary administration, hiring, corrective action, terminations, time records, expense reports, leave requests, and overtime
