📋 Description

• Provide study-, project-, and program-specific medical monitoring and review services for clinical trials and safety evaluation • Lead medical aspects of contracted tasks and supervise safety variables • Discuss medical issues with clients, investigators, and healthcare professionals in pre- and post-approval services • Provide medical consultation to team members and answer study-related medical questions • Maintain clear communication with associates and clients to ensure procedures are followed • Analyze and assess safety data to identify and run emerging safety signals • Medically review individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports, and clinical outcome reports • Assist with business development activities • Present PPD standard medical safety processes to clients and engage with medical communities to expand business • Participate in project-team training and provide therapeutic and protocol training • Write, review, and approve reports, regulatory submissions, and protocols for accurate and complete medical content

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Director/Associate Medical Director-level expertise in neuroscience clinical trials and pharmacovigilance is required by the role scope • Ability to provide accurate medical judgment, interpretation, and decisions • Ability to analyze safety data and identify emerging safety signals • Ability to medically review individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports, and clinical outcome reports • Ability to provide medical consultation and answer study-related medical questions • Ability to present medical safety processes to clients • Ability to provide therapeutic and protocol training • Ability to write, review, and approve reports, regulatory submissions, and protocols • Ability to work with clients, investigators, healthcare professionals, associates, and medical communities
