📋 Description

• Provide study, project and program-specific medical monitoring and review services • Lead all medical aspects of contracted tasks and supervise safety variables • Discuss medical issues with clients, investigators and healthcare professionals in pre- and post-approval services • Provide medical consultation to team members and answer study-related medical questions • Communicate clearly with associates and clients to ensure procedures are followed appropriately • Analyze and assess safety data to identify and run emerging safety signals • Conduct medical review of individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports and clinical outcome reports • Assist in business development activities • Present PPD standard medical safety processes to clients at business development meetings • Connect with medical communities to explore and expand PPD business • Participate in training of project teams • Provide therapeutic and protocol training as needed • Write, review and approve reports, regulatory submissions and protocols, ensuring accurate and complete medical content

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Director or Associate Medical Director experience in Neuroscience • Medical support and medical advice experience for clinical trials and safety evaluation • Accurate medical judgment, interpretation and decision-making • Ability to analyze and assess safety data to identify emerging safety signals • Experience with individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports and clinical outcome reports • Ability to write, review and approve reports, regulatory submissions and protocols • Ability to provide therapeutic and protocol training • Ability to communicate with clients, investigators, healthcare professionals, associates and medical communities • Ability to participate in business development activities and meetings
