📋 Description

• Provide L1 network support activities for voice and mobile services 24x7 • Ensure reactive repair activities with customers, suppliers, and third parties worldwide • Monitor and investigate fraud events generated by internal fraud detection, QoS, and other tools • Identify root causes and determine resolution measures • Define and implement improvements in fraud prevention services delivered to BICS customers • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve complaints in accordance with SLAs • Work with the Telecom Team on a project for BICS, part of Proximus Global • Support the quality, reliability, performance, and security of international communications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecom or equivalent • 1+ year of experience in the operation of mobile or fixed networks as an engineer • Knowledge of GSM network structure • Knowledge of signalling in GSM networks • Knowledge of MTP, ISUP/SIP, SCCP, and TCAP protocol stack • Knowledge of voice call and SMS flows • Knowledge of IP network working principles • Knowledge of the fraud prevention domain and wholesale telecom business is an asset • Experience with signalling protocol monitoring tools, protocol analysers, and trace analysis • Knowledge of network KPIs and analysis of statistics and reports • Good written and spoken English • Willingness to travel internationally as required • Must pass a background check as a final candidate
