📋 Description

• Develop a cross-platform solution as part of an international team • Work on photo-processing software intended to bring new life to image processing • Investigate issues independently • Propose and implement solutions • Deliver tested code through a code review process • Perform daily development tasks including code investigation, testing, refactoring, and critical evaluation of AI-generated results • Contribute to a large, long-lived macOS codebase • Participate in project work scheduled through June 2027, with potential extension

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of production Objective-C experience on AppKit/Cocoa, with a proven track record • Strong proficiency in Objective-C • Solid modern C++ (C++17 or later) experience • Experience with large, long-lived codebases, including multi-framework Xcode workspaces, Core Data, GCD/concurrency, memory management, debugging and profiling • Ability to independently investigate issues, propose and implement solutions, and deliver tested code through a code review process • Full working proficiency in English • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents, preferably Claude Code, for daily development tasks, including code investigation, testing, refactoring, and critical evaluation of AI-generated results • Swift knowledge is an advantage • Experience developing desktop image-processing or photo-editing applications, or other performance-sensitive desktop software is an advantage • Experience with unit and acceptance testing frameworks, such as XCTest, OCMock, or GoogleTest, and familiarity with continuous integration (CI) workflows is an advantage • Experience shipping Mac apps with notarized direct distribution is an advantage • Successful completion of a background check for final candidates • Ability to work in English
