📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end backend and frontend features across ledger, routing services, and React-based UI • Implement and evolve production-grade APIs, data models, and integrations for a high-throughput financial system • Own the full feature lifecycle from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production reliability • Collaborate with the VP of Engineering, founders, and engineers to translate product requirements into technical designs and delivery plans • Improve platform performance, scalability, and observability through profiling, tuning, and monitoring • Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical decision-making • Work across the stack on hyper-scalable, secure, and auditable systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building high-throughput, distributed backend systems • 5+ years of experience as a full stack or backend-heavy engineer working on production systems • Strong proficiency in at least one of Python (FastAPI preferred), Go, or Java • Experience building and operating APIs • Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React • Experience building complex, data-dense interfaces • Strong experience with relational databases and caches; Postgres and Redis highly valued • Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes • Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, reliability, and scalability • Comfortable working in a low-structure, high-ambiguity startup environment with a high degree of ownership • Desirable: Ethereum/L2s, smart contracts, and zero-knowledge proofs (zkSNARKs) • Desirable: graph-based models, fraud detection, or anomaly detection on live transaction streams • Desirable: payments, treasury, or other high-audit, regulated environments • Desirable: early-stage startup experience and continuous delivery
