📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Toniecloud IoT services for millions of users • Contribute to the Toniecloud ecosystem, including a Django backend platform with RESTful and GraphQL APIs • Work with an IoT messaging stack processing technical diagnostic data from millions of Tonieboxes worldwide • Maintain reliable 24/7/365 services and help achieve the 99.99% SLA • Collaborate within a cross-functional, stream-aligned team to champion technical excellence • Work with the Product Manager and team members to deliver a strong in-app user experience • Enable parents to set up and configure Tonieboxes and Tonies • Continuously improve usability, quality, security, and service reliability • Explore and deliver new solutions through agile, independent, and creative work

🎯 Requirements

• Many years of experience as a software engineer • Track record in building or maintaining backends for IoT products • Fluency in at least two programming languages, including Python • Ability to quickly adapt to new programming languages • Essential experience with Django • Familiarity with database systems, ideally PostgreSQL • Thoughtful and efficient use of ORMs • Linux experience • Daily experience with Git and GitLab • Experience with automated tests, CI/CD, and observability • Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs • Professional English communication skills • Must be currently based in Germany • Enthusiasm for the tonies product
