📋 Description

• Become the subject matter expert for a particular service in close cooperation with the relevant software team • Provide operational support for software deployments • Respond to production incidents • Develop infrastructure automation tools to eliminate manual effort • Detect and resolve potential problems before they degrade services • Maintain high availability for managed services • Implement infrastructure solutions required by product teams

🎯 Requirements

• A strong background in Linux systems, including shell scripting and performance tuning • Excellent understanding of Internet technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.) • Previous experience operating a large-scale, high-uptime environment • Coding skills in Python, PHP, or another interpreted language like perl or ruby • Knowledge about the deployment and maintenance of web applications • Experience using a configuration management tool like Ansible • Familiarity with general monitoring principles, as well as tools like Zabbix, New Relic, etc. • English: Advanced • Availability for a Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 Uruguay schedule • Ability to work the role's specified working hours
