📋 Description

• Master and consistently apply the brand’s Japanese-market tone of voice across all touchpoints • Develop original and transcreated copy for social media campaign assets, social posts, SEM content, display ads, and product naming • Collaborate with the in-country Localization Manager, Creative team, and Marketing team • Present creative concepts in live calls and facilitate discussions to refine strategic direction • Align creative outputs with strategic objectives, audience insights, and brand voice guidelines • Attend voice-over sessions, guide talent during recording, and support the mixing process • Deliver thoughtful, on-brief creative work • Integrate feedback effectively and bring fresh ideas and multiple creative perspectives

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level Japanese copywriting experience • Proven ability to interpret creative briefs and translate strategic objectives into compelling creative solutions • Ability to develop copywriting strategies grounded in research and insights • Strong understanding of audience behavior and market context • Ability to adapt tone and style based on feedback and evolving business needs • Track record of exploring multiple creative directions • Ability to present and explain creative and linguistic choices during live calls with cross-functional stakeholders • Highly responsive during working hours • Ability to meet tight deadlines without repeated follow-ups • Ability to produce multiple creative options efficiently without compromising quality • Extensive experience in transcreation and conceptual copywriting • Strong portfolio showcasing high-impact brand work; portfolio presentation required during interview • Agency background required • Mid- to senior-level experience required • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience • Proactive cross-functional collaboration and idea contribution • Ability to receive and thoughtfully implement feedback • Alignment with established team processes and expectations • Ownership of complete, polished creative solutions • Native-level Japanese • Excellent English, written and spoken • Based in Japan
