📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Insurance and Legal sectors • Create and finalize the end product before delivery to the client • Work under the guidance of a manager and in collaboration with Project Managers • Support translation needs of international clients • Provide relevant Translation and Proofreading experience in the CV

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Specialized in Legal and Insurance fields • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete Translation and Proofreading tests • Applicants must undergo a background check • Latest CV required, including relevant Translation and Proofreading experience • Candidates must provide proposed Translation per-word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
