📋 Description

• Support enterprise database consolidation, migration, and system integration projects across the organization’s portfolio of businesses • Analyze source databases, applications, and business processes to understand data structures, relationships, dependencies, and business requirements • Develop, maintain, and document source-to-target data mappings • Identify data transformations, conversions, cleansing, and business rules • Identify data discrepancies, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolution with business and technical teams • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and conversion testing • Perform pre-conversion data assessments and audits • Perform post-conversion audits and reconciliation • Assist with post-conversion stabilization by monitoring data quality, investigating issues, and supporting remediation • Maintain documentation of data mappings, transformation rules, business requirements, testing results, issues, resolutions, and conversion outcomes • Use reports and analytical tools for data validation, reconciliation, testing, and conversion activities • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, application owners, database teams, developers, and technical resources • Escalate significant data-quality, technical, or business-process issues • Improve data conversion processes, documentation, controls, and repeatability • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement • Perform other data analysis and conversion-related responsibilities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience in data analysis, database migration, data conversion, systems integration, business analysis, or a related field • Experience analyzing source and destination database structures, data elements, and business processes • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Strong understanding of relational databases, database structures, tables, fields, relationships, and data dependencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to analyze differences between source and target systems and determine mapping or transformation requirements • Strong data-mapping and data-validation skills • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation skills • Ability to clearly document data mappings, business rules, testing results, issues, and conversion outcomes • Familiarity with data migration, ETL, data integration, or database conversion tools is a plus • Must reside within the Eastern or Central time zone
