📋 Description

• Mentor postgraduate students undertaking research or applied industry projects over 15 weeks • Provide weekly structured academic guidance and support to 10 assigned students • Lead project planning, scope definition, milestone tracking, and research progress • Support research design, literature review, methodology, data analysis, and academic writing • Provide timely, constructive feedback on drafts, reports, presentations, and assessments • Monitor progress, identify academic risks, and provide additional support • Ensure academic integrity, ethical research practice, and inclusive supervision • Liaise with industry partners where applicable • Arrange student meetings flexibly based on mutual availability

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Management, Business Analytics, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or related discipline (essential) • Prior postgraduate supervision, mentoring, or research guidance experience • Experience in applied research, consulting, or industry projects • Familiarity with research methodologies and academic writing • Strong mentoring and coaching ability • Excellent academic writing and feedback skills • Ability to manage multiple students simultaneously • High level of organisation and time management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Commitment to academic integrity and ethical research practice • Respect for diversity and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles • Resume and cover letter detailing relevant experience and interest
