📋 Description

• Join the Dental Insurance Billing/Collections Team handling billing, collections, and payment posting services for dental clinics and service providers in the United States • Confirm dental insurance eligibility via web portal, fax back, and phone call • Gather patient eligibility for specific dental procedures, including coverage percentages, history, frequency limitations, and billing guidelines • Enter eligibility information in the dental clinic's Practice Management System • Work with the dental clinic in real time to verify eligibility of walk-in patients and specific diagnosed procedures

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1-2 years as a Dental Insurance Eligibility Verifier • Familiarity with Dental Insurance policy types, PPO, HMO, MediCal • Ability to navigate one or more major Dental Practice Management systems, specifically scheduling, patient demographics, and insurance information • Procedural understanding of general dentistry procedures • Strong accuracy, attentiveness to detail, and time management skills • Data entry skills (40 WPM or better) • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information • Willingness to work in shifting schedules, mostly night shift • Able to work from home with reliable internet and a backup connection
