📋 Description

• Deliver practical AI capabilities on the existing engineering and operations foundation, including CI/CD, code quality, and observability, with guardrails for HIPAA/GxP and FedRAMP-boundary work. • Build and operate an internal AI platform for developer workflows, including code assistance, pull-request review support, test generation, documentation, and automation. • Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD, code quality systems, and repositories through templates, examples, and self-service patterns. • Implement AI quality gates, including policy checks, confidence thresholds, regression tests, and secure-by-default configurations. • Design logging, auditability, access controls, and data-handling guardrails for HIPAA/GxP work. • Maintain a FedRAMP-boundary-safe approach for SBP Federal work, including separation where required and evaluation of compliant alternatives. • Partner with engineering leads and security/compliance to define and roll out internal responsible-AI standards. • Build AI-assisted operations using observability signals, including anomaly detection, incident-triage support, runbook-driven automation, and self-healing patterns. • Measure adoption, cycle time, and incident metrics; iterate and communicate progress to engineering leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevEx, or SRE/operations engineering, with recent hands-on work applying LLMs/AI to real workflows. • Experience building or productionizing AI-assisted developer tooling, including code review assistance, test generation, documentation, or workflow automation. • Experience building and operating automated/semi-automated agent workflows that execute scoped engineering tasks. • Experience building AI-assisted operations/observability capabilities, including anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, triage automation, or runbook automation, on top of existing monitoring stacks. • Strong coding skills in Python plus one of Java or TypeScript. • Comfort operating in regulated environments and designing guardrails for HIPAA, GxP, FedRAMP, or similar requirements, including boundary/tenant separation and auditability. • Clear written and verbal communication; able to align engineers, security/compliance, and leadership. • Preferred: Experience with FedRAMP boundaries and evaluating FedRAMP-authorized tooling alternatives. • Preferred: Experience integrating deeply with CI/CD and developer toolchains such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI, SonarQube, or CodeBuild. • Preferred: Prior platform/DevEx experience building internal products where engineers are the customers. • Preferred: Experience in regulated software domains such as clinical, federal, or financial. • Preferred: Familiarity with AWS-native operations tooling such as CloudWatch and DevOps Guru, and workflow/orchestration tools.
