📋 Description

• Build modern web applications that are responsive, performant, and accessible • Make key decisions on frontend architecture • Write integration and unit tests • Learn and apply the latest front-end technologies and standards • Drive creation and maintenance of API contracts between front-end and backend systems • Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the code base, productivity, and team

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of professional responsive front-end development experience • Experience working in a collaborative environment and partnering with cross-disciplinary teams • Expert knowledge of JavaScript and front-end technologies including TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3 • Extensive experience with JavaScript testing libraries, including Jest and React Testing Library • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and good contract design • Strong working knowledge of Figma • Strong focus on usability and user experience • Eligible to work in Canada • Bonus: Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup • Bonus: Experience at a fintech
