📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day operational support for assigned databases and platforms • Lead the design and implementation of new database installations for approved projects and initiatives • Monitor and maintain assigned systems, including backup and recovery, updates, patches, hotfixes, and capacity planning with Systems Engineering • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for system maintenance and continuity • Assist with solution design, including database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and SQL query tuning • Design, develop, implement, and maintain system interfaces to streamline and automate business processes • Develop and maintain documentation for developed solutions • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives toward project completion while maintaining global standards and practices • Provide advanced technical support for IT Systems Engineers, Support Engineers, and Service Desk • Mentor team members and ensure cross-training for assigned systems and applications

🎯 Requirements

• Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server and the SQL Server toolset • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards • Thorough understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling • Ability to work effectively and take a leadership role in an international, multi-cultural team environment • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a group to achieve desired outcomes • Strong time management and workload management skills • Experience with Manufacturing Systems, including LIMS, PI, and Aspen Tech • S. in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience in database administration and advanced database support
