📋 Description

• Serve as the subject matter authority on Verkada's full suite of products and offerings • Articulate product value to customers throughout the sales process • Act as a trusted advisor and overcome technical objections while securing the technical win • Help build the region and enable local partners • Present Verkada solutions to C-level executives, loss prevention managers, and IT directors • Work with Account Executives and the Head of Northern Europe to develop territory strategy • Design solutions involving network security, bandwidth requirements, physical security products, deployment, cloud security RFPs/documents, and LTE deployments • Stay current on the security and IoT industry through conferences, presentations, and market thought leadership • Train and educate partners, customers, and internal employees on Verkada products • Write white papers and knowledge base articles about products, features, and integrations • Interface directly with customers and partners throughout the sales process, assist with local compliance, deployment design, and technical support for territory account representatives • Travel may be required up to 50%

🎯 Requirements

• Based in Helsinki (or ready to relocate) • Fluent in English and Finnish; additional language ideal • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, or IT Security from an accredited university • Strong networking background, including HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, firewalls, and software systems • Outstanding written and verbal English and Finnish communication skills • Industry certifications ideally including AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or CSP • Experience with APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus • Experience with Linux systems is ideal, not a requirement • Previous startup experience is ideal, not a requirement
