📋 Description

• Develop clean, maintainable, testable, and reusable C# code based on business requirements and user stories • Design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, and Entity Framework Core • Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices and scalable architecture principles • Contribute to frontend development using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Work with SQL Server, including data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning • Implement automated unit and integration tests • Collaborate using Git-based workflows and participate in code reviews • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments • Work with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based architectures • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and performance issues • Contribute to continuous improvement of code quality, architecture, and development processes • Develop modern web applications in the FinTech sector for Vexcash AG, an online provider of short-term loans • Work in a skilled and collaborative environment as a full-stack developer, primarily focused on backend services and APIs while supporting frontend development

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem • Hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET 8+ / ASP.NET Core • Solid experience with ADO.NET and Entity Framework Core • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, and query optimization • Experience with frontend technologies (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS) • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest • Good understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns • Experience using Git in collaborative development environments • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling • Experience with Microsoft Azure • Experience working in agile development environments • Strong problem-solving skills and focus on code quality • Good command of English and German • Freelancer / independent contractor availability • Ability to work a 6-month contract at 40 hours/week
