📋 Description

• Define and execute product strategy across cloud infrastructure, virtualisation, and storage components • Engage with engineering teams on system architecture, RFCs, design reviews, and technical specifications • Drive product innovation in performance engineering, scalability, and infrastructure optimisation • Lead competitive benchmarking and shape product direction using data and market trends • Collaborate with CPU, GPU, storage, and networking hardware vendors on integrated, performance-optimised solutions • Align roadmap and delivery across virtualisation, cloud management platforms, and infrastructure tooling for CSPs, MSPs, and enterprise providers • Coordinate cross-product initiatives and ensure integration with internal and third-party tools • Identify emerging technology trends and guide long-term innovation investments • Support definition and enforcement of product quality KPIs, customer use cases, and performance benchmarks • Lead strategic product direction for Virtuozzo's core platform offerings across Virtuozzo Infrastructure and Virtuozzo Storage

🎯 Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in virtualisation, storage, or networking and security within distributed systems • Expertise in containers, hypervisors, orchestration, or GPU virtualisation • Expertise in block, file, or object storage, including erasure coding, tiering, caching, or replication • Experience writing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with detailed technical content • Ability to align engineers, architects, and kernel developers around shared product goals • Experience leading technical design discussions and architecture reviews • Experience participating in RFC processes • Strong cross-functional leadership across QA, DevOps, SRE, benchmarking, and compliance • Familiarity with FIPS, GDPR, and PCI-DSS • Ability to analyse performance benchmarks, define KPIs, and make data-grounded product decisions • Experience collaborating on patentable technologies or filing IP in infrastructure domains • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive alignment between product, engineering, and field teams • 5+ years of experience in technical product management OR 5+ years of hands-on experience in OS/storage/networking development or system-level Linux administration • Open to contractors
