📋 Description

• Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs • Use AWS services including SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge • Provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform • Write unit and integration tests • Monitor application health and performance using metrics, logs, and alerts • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Contribute to architectural and technical discussions and continuous improvement • Work on anti-fraud systems that monitor transactions, communicate with third parties for verification, and support fee calculation for other modules

🎯 Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil • Proficiency in English at B1 level or above (Intermediate) • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) • Strong experience with Java/JVM-based languages • Experience with the financial industry or payments/authorization systems • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in production environments • Skilled in Golang and adaptable to Java/Groovy or JVM-related languages • Advanced Git skills • Thorough code review experience • Experience writing and validating unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests • Experience with Swagger, flow diagrams, and API documentation • Proficiency with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh • Deep product knowledge and experience in feature planning and impact analysis • Strong relational database design and non-relational strategy/data modeling • Proficiency in AWS • Experience designing scalable microservices and evaluating architectural options • Experience identifying and resolving distributed-systems issues • Preferred: experience with critical systems • Preferred: understanding of observability practices • Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, GPT, or Claude
