📋 Description

• Profile and diagnose historical-corpus query patterns in the matching engine • Identify opportunities to parallelize or cache serial calls • Design and implement AWS-based solutions using services such as Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB • Build monitoring and cost visibility into scaling changes • Partner with the Director of AI/ML Software Engineering to align infrastructure changes with matching-engine scoring logic • Extend infrastructure practices to RFP/RFQ tooling, the supplier assessment site, and referral/payment tracking • Support migration of workloads and services to AWS, including architecture assessment, data migration, cutover planning, and post-migration validation • Document architecture decisions and runbooks • Execute workstreams against documented SOPs and specifications with AI-assisted tooling • Coordinate daily with the Chief of Staff and receive technical guidance from the senior engineering lead

🎯 Requirements

• Solid programming fundamentals in any modern language; Python or Node.js is a plus • Exposure to AWS core services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships • Working knowledge of cloud migration concepts, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting, data migration approaches, and minimizing downtime during cutover • Understanding of serial versus parallel execution and curiosity about caching strategies • Comfortable working independently against written specifications and asking questions when specifications are ambiguous • Clear speaking, writing, and listening skills • Reliability and follow-through • Willingness and ability to learn • Positive attitude • India-based availability • Full-time availability
