📋 Description

• Process new part number requests and confirm required planning, sourcing, warehouse, and item attributes before system setup • Process Item Change Notice requests and implement approved changes accurately and on time • Create, update, and maintain item-planning records and related system settings for supported warehouses and product lines • Maintain supplying relationships for distribution items and validate source and destination locations • Update planning time fences, ABC codes, and related planning classifications • Complete approved master-data and planning-parameter updates on request, weekly, and quarterly schedules • Perform M10, MX0, and C80 item-planning checks and correct or escalate inaccurate settings • Validate purchased, job shop, and distribution sourcing methods • Review planner, buyer, warehouse, lead-time, order-method, and supplying-relationship assignments • Identify and escalate issues caused by missing or incorrect bills of material, routings, sourcing, or item parameters • Maintain request queues, change logs, process documentation, templates, and reference files • Perform data-quality reviews, reconcile records across warehouses and systems, and investigate discrepancies • Coordinate Pinghu order requests and related item or sourcing setup activities • Prepare or support PO Review Reports and Open Sales Order Reports • Provide status updates on requests, aging items, recurring exceptions, and periodic reviews • Communicate system changes and planning impacts to cross-functional business partners • Provide supply-planning support for assigned SKUs, product lines, or customer portfolios • Review inventory outlook, open orders, shortages, back orders, excess inventory, and planning exceptions • Release and monitor spike orders and follow up on order exceptions • Support supply reviews and coordinate with Demand Planning on forecast changes, excess risk, minimum order quantities, and product life-cycle considerations • Review purchase-order, work-order, transfer, job shop, and distribution supply options • Provide backup coverage for other planners and respond to internal inquiries regarding item availability and supply constraints • Identify continuous-improvement opportunities and support data-quality measures, service-level targets, system testing, process changes, and implementations • Cross-train team members on critical master-data processes and maintain backup procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Data Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Experience in master data management, item setup, supply chain planning, inventory management, materials planning, or a related function • Experience working with ERP, MRP, item-master, inventory-planning, or order-management systems • Strong Excel and data-analysis skills, including the ability to review large data sets and identify exceptions • Ability to follow approval requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and complete detailed system updates consistently • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions and locations • Ability to manage recurring schedules, ad hoc requests, competing priorities, and time-sensitive issues • Preferred: experience in master data governance, product or item lifecycle management, data quality, or ERP data maintenance • Preferred: experience supporting automotive aftermarket, manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location supply chains • Preferred: knowledge of planning parameters, sourcing methods, supplying relationships, lead times, order policies, bills of material, and routings • Preferred: experience with new-item setup, change-control workflows, periodic data audits, and planning exception reporting • Preferred: familiarity with supply planning, shortage management, purchase orders, work orders, transfers, and inventory outlook reporting
