📋 Description

• Own application security and work with product teams on new systems to enhance Wave’s security posture • Support infrastructure security, including database security • Define and enforce guardrails for safely using AI-powered agents • Secure agentic tooling against prompt injection, excessive permissions, and data exfiltration • Build policies and technical controls governing AI usage across the company • Design agentic SIEM/SecOps pipelines for AI-driven triage, alerting, and response automation • Secure MCP integrations against prompt injection, tool misuse, and credential exposure • Tune and maintain code security review agents for Wave’s codebase, threat model, and regulatory environment • Develop internal AI governance standards covering acceptable use, data handling, and audit requirements for LLM-powered tools • Centralise application-level login and permissions enforcement, including privileged access management • Rework secrets management with ephemeral secrets and tighter access scopes • Conduct security reviews of public-facing APIs • Advise the engineering organisation on security and perform design reviews • Own security projects from planning through delivery • Report to the Security Team Lead and work closely with the CISO and Product and Platform teams

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of it spent in a security-related role • Strong Experience with Python • Fluent English • Reliable internet access • Ability to work remotely between UTC -5 and +4 • Experience with cloud technologies • Experience remediating non-conformities • Interest in security-focused source code review and penetration testing • Experience with LLM-based security tooling and understanding of its promise and failure modes • Resume in English and a cover letter describing interest in Wave and the role
