📋 Description

• Become a pioneer for the next generation of digital design • Teach practice-relevant knowledge about CAD systems, Generative Design, and the professional use of AI in engineering. • Support the entire digital engineering process: design task → AI-supported analysis → generative variant development → technical evaluation → optimization → documentation → transfer into professional practice • Transform CAD professionals into even better design engineers by integrating modern AI tools and methods.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, product development, design engineering, or a related field • At least 5 years of professional experience in design, product development, or CAD engineering • Very good knowledge of at least one professional CAD system (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Fusion 360) • Practical experience with parametric modeling and modern CAD workflows • Solid knowledge of current AI applications in engineering and CAD contexts • Demonstrable experience in the productive use of generative AI solutions such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar systems • Experience with AI-assisted features of modern CAD systems, for example Generative Design or automated optimization • Ability to evaluate AI-generated results on a professional basis and to critically assess them • A solid understanding of the opportunities, limitations, risks, and quality requirements of generative AI • Experience delivering technical content to adults or comparable training experience
