📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end deployment, integration, configuration, and upgrades of Packet Core Network elements across 4G and 5G environments • Deploy Packet Core nodes on Bare Metal, VNF, and CNF architectures within telecom cloud environments • Implement Packet Core solutions based on customer requirements and HLD/DLD specifications • Install, configure, integrate, and upgrade SMF, UPF, PGW, and SGW core network elements • Support 4G EPC and 5G SA/NSA network component deployments • Work with OpenStack, VMware, OpenShift, Docker, and container-based environments • Validate system functionality, perform interoperability testing, and integrate multi-vendor network environments • Troubleshoot network and deployment issues using Wireshark, system logs, packet captures, and protocol-level debugging • Analyze and resolve 4G/5G call-flow issues involving VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT use cases • Execute upgrades, patches, migrations, and configuration changes while minimizing service disruption • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for availability, scalability, and reliability • Collaborate with onsite/offshore engineering teams, customer stakeholders, and cross-functional teams • Prepare deployment documentation, configuration records, test reports, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures • Provide technical support during deployment, integration, acceptance testing, and post-deployment activities • Participate in technical discussions, knowledge sharing, customer presentations, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in telecom network engineering, Packet Core deployment, or related telecommunications infrastructure roles • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Packet Core solution implementation, deployment, integration, or upgrades • Strong end-to-end understanding of Packet Core architecture and solution implementation • Deep knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, network interfaces, protocols, and core network components • Experience deploying Packet Core nodes on Bare Metal infrastructure, VNFs, and CNFs • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading, and troubleshooting Packet Core nodes • Working knowledge of SMF, UPF, PGW, and SGW and their roles in 4G/5G networks • Understanding of telecom cloud environments and deployment of EPC and Packet Core solutions on cloud infrastructure • Good working knowledge of Linux, VMware, Docker, containers, OpenStack, and OpenShift • Proficiency in network troubleshooting using Wireshark, packet captures, system logs, and protocol analysis • Ability to execute network deployment activities according to HLD and DLD specifications • Understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT use cases • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
