📋 Description

• Design and ship AI-powered features end to end while owning quality, latency, and cost • Build backend services and APIs that perform reliably under real load • Instrument systems, monitor metrics, and fix production issues • Critically review code and designs • Take prompt, retrieval, and agent changes from experiment to production • Support a wellbeing-focused, collaborative environment

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python and track record of shipping and operating production backends • Solid AWS, including serverless Lambda • SQL and NoSQL, including DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and Postgres • Experience designing, integrating, and monitoring production APIs • Event-driven systems, including Kafka and SQS • Production observability using metrics, logs, traces, and alerts; Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry • Comfort with distributed systems and loosely scoped problems • Experience with Kotlin, Golang, or Java, microservices, and distributed systems are mandatory requirements • Strong communicator with technical and non-technical audiences • Critical thinking and willingness to question assumptions • Proactive approach to identifying and fixing improvements • Ability to collaborate across product, design, data science, and engineering
