📋 Description

• Write and review linguistic content in Hebrew at native-level proficiency to ensure accuracy for customers using multimedia platforms • Localize, translate, and adapt music, film, gaming, sports, and other multimedia content according to style guides and guidelines • Write new copy for multimedia products and services • Perform annotation tasks • Linguistically review own work and other localization team members’ work • Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy • Perform Localization QA testing on content published on live platforms, including music and app descriptions, marketing materials, and campaigns • Research local content, product, terminology trends, and localization practices for the target market • Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics • Report on data and assets across media and content types • Review linguistic assessments and create training materials and project documents • Train localization team counterparts on terminology, style, and best practices • Collaborate with the global language team through virtual meetings and email to calibrate terminology and style and address market-specific needs • Act as a cultural ambassador for the Hebrew language market and flag cultural issues, suggesting appropriate localized content

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content such as music, TV and applications with proof of writing samples • Native-level or fully bilingual Hebrew, written and spoken • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content • Creative writing ability • Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies from a massive sea of content and make sound judgment calls based on information at hand • Wide-ranging knowledge of music artists, TV and cinema, gaming and pop culture • Ability to own the language market and make confident linguistic decisions • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines • Fluency in written and verbal English • Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS systems is a plus • Ability to type in their native-level language using a local (English) keyboard • Ability to work independently and remotely • Collaborative; enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment
