📋 Description

• Write and review linguistic content in the target language for multimedia platforms • Localize, transcreate and adapt music and media-related marketing content for maximum relevance, engagement and effectiveness in the target market • Write, review and optimize marketing copy across multimedia products, digital campaigns, promotional materials, apps and audience-facing communications • Perform linguistic reviews of personal work and work produced by other localization team members • Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy • Perform Localization QA testing on content published on live platforms, including music and app descriptions, marketing materials and campaigns • Conduct market-specific research on local content treatment, content, product and terminology trends, and localization best practices • Report on data and assets across a broad range of media and content types • Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned market, advising on marketing language, local consumer preferences, media trends and culturally relevant messaging • Collaborate with the global language team through virtual meetings and email to calibrate terminology and style, understand trends and market-specific insights, and provide translations as needed • Flag potential cultural issues and suggest improvements to ensure content is appropriate and relevant to target markets

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in Media Marketing, Music Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Marketing Localization, Creative Copywriting or related fields, with proof of writing samples or marketing content contributions • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content • Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies from a massive sea of content and make sound judgement calls based on information at hand • Deep familiarity with local media channels, marketing trends, digital platforms, entertainment industries and consumer culture within the target market • Ability to own the language market and make confident linguistic decisions • Highly detail-oriented, with ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines • Fluency in written and verbal English • Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS systems is a plus • Ability to type in the native-level language using a local English keyboard • Ability to work independently and remotely • Collaborative and comfortable working in a multicultural environment • Native-level proficiency in es-MX • Deep expertise in Mexican consumer behavior, marketing trends, cultural nuances, media landscapes and the music industry ecosystem • Awareness of contemporary music trends, genres, audience preferences and relevant pop culture
