📋 Description

• Lead all procurement activities related to energy systems for assigned Procurement Projects • Ensure components are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with applicable quality requirements • Monitor active projects, update status and changes, eliminate roadblocks, and escalate issues • Contribute to sourcing plans to minimize risks, create savings, and ensure predictive delivery • Interface directly with Business, Engineering, Quality, and Sales departments and external customers • Support development of procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Management teams • Identify demand and potential suppliers and establish supplier communication channels • Support sourcing strategies, commercial conditions, quotation solicitation, contract proposal analysis, contract preparation, and purchasing processes • Analyze commodity-group costs and develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value • Cultivate supplier and partner relationships and resolve contract performance issues • Review and communicate safety-related requirements and ensure regulatory and Westinghouse Procurement policy compliance • Assess supplier capacity, capability, and manufacturing processes against project technical requirements • Manage supply and supplier commitments, change management, contract management, negotiations, agreements, and system updates • Support Accounts Payable in resolving discrepancies between supplier invoices and purchase orders • Report to the APX Global Supply Chain Solution's Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Engineering • 10+ years of experience in global performance supplier activities or global supplier project management activities • Experience working with multinational teams • Nuclear or mechanical professional background • Proficiency in English • Italian or Spanish knowledge is a plus • Availability to travel up to 10-20% per month to suppliers' sites in Italy or Spain
