📋 Description

• Partner with sales and internal stakeholders to address and develop technical customer requirements for Workiva solutions • Uncover customer technical requirements consultatively and deliver solutions leveraging the Workiva platform • Provide feedback to internal teams for product improvements • Serve as technical lead for sales opportunities involving integration and data management • Bridge technical expertise and customer needs throughout the sales process • Facilitate IT conversations regarding the Workiva platform’s fit within customer technology ecosystems • Partner with Regional Sales Directors and customer-facing teams to determine customer challenges and requirements • Coordinate cross-functional Workiva resources during customer-facing initiatives • Design customized solutions to reinvent customers’ finance processes • Create or adapt custom demo solutions for customers and prospects • Provide project and relationship management for larger customers • Develop trusted relationships with senior customer teams • Identify finance-organization transformation opportunities using the Workiva platform • Partner with Sales on territory and pipeline development, engagement plans, qualification gates, and account expansion opportunities • Build and present customer business cases and proposals articulating Workiva’s value and ROI • Serve as primary technical partner for enterprise opportunities • Support joint customer initiatives with selected Workiva business partners • Guide enterprise IT, architecture, and line-of-business leaders on modern data management, automated workflows, and practical AI capabilities • Conduct solution discovery and value presentations across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability solutions • Support smooth customer onboarding and long-term success with partner and customer support teams • Mentor and train other team members

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of related career experience in pre-sales/solution consulting or management consulting (e.g., Big 4 or equivalent), with a background in solution consulting, technical sales, or solution delivery • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience • Deep domain knowledge of sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD/ESRS, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, EU Taxonomy) and carbon accounting practice across Scope 1, 2 and 3 under the GHG Protocol • Experience preparing and delivering software presentations/demos or implementing complex software platforms • Highly commercial mindset with the ability to influence customer decisions and contribute to sales strategies • Strong leadership skills and client-facing consulting experience • Ability and willingness to provide training on domain knowledge to different audiences • Project and time management skills • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Experience in team settings • Excellent client-facing presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex technical topics into simple, business-value-focused explanations • Understanding of a company’s finance and accounting processes • Ability to position and consult on modern data strategies, enterprise integrations, and practical AI applications within complex enterprise ecosystems • Reliable internet access when working remotely and not in a Workiva office
